journey into the heart of neolith, the pioneer in sintered stone, with the new showroom at their castellon headquarters, spain. the neolith HQ showroom offers a fascinating 360° insight into their myriad of interior and exterior applications for their stoneware, from the floors, walls and ceilings to the kitchen islands, sculptural features and vanity tops. it exhibits their versatility not only in application but also the extensiveness of their customizability to match every client need, including patterns, finishes, formats and thicknesses. visitors gaze, walk and feel upon their materials as they move throughout the homely space.
the neolith HQ showroom is the result of the creative vision of their in-house architect giuliana barandiarán. it exemplifies how even their most bold and innovative statements, which the brand has launched over the last decade, can be refined to create a contemporary look and feel. the result is informal and homely in complete contrast to typical cold and corporate showrooms. luxurious furniture, fixtures and fittings from design brands, such as B&B italia, flos and louis poulsen, are key to this feeling as they provide essential context to the many neolith applications spanning from wall-to-wall on display.

visitors are welcomed into the showroom with a two-tone bar made from nero marquina polished and new york-new york materials. the combination immediately sets the tone for the interior as it evokes the atmosphere of a modern cocktail lounge.
new york-new york lines every surface of the kitchen, from hood to sink
the demonstration kitchen, fitted with a fully integrated island with an exclusive PITT cooking range, builds upon the showroom’s impression of sophistication. from hood to sink, it continues the use of the eye-catching new york-new york material on the cabinets designed by DOCA. these are integrated with shelving in amazonico – one of their newest colors from the s-six collection.
calacatta gold tiles frame the summer dala material at the heart of the showroom
another material from the s-six collection is on show in the central part of the neolith HQ showroom. inspired by norwegian wood, summer dala is fitted in a tessellating plan on the floor, then framed in calacatta gold.
mar del plata lines the floor, wall and ceiling of the bathroom
as a sanctuary of personal wellbeing, the bathroom is designed to transport you to a luxurious, carefree place. one of the brand’s most exotic patterns, mar del plata, lines the floor whilst fixtures and fittings dazzle in gold. to finish, a deluxe hydro massage bathtub provided by jacuzzi is fitted.
the outdoor section’s work bar is clad in patinated sofia suprum
the simulation of real-life settings – whether a home or a rooftop bar – is integral to the showroom’s design. the outside is brought in with the BBQ area of the exhibit. the wood-like material, called la boheme, covered the flooring to allude to the natural setting as well as a brand’s commitment to sustainability. a spacious work bar clad in patinated sofia suprum creates an industrial steel pop against brilliant arctic white nanotech in the outside space.
a dining table custom-made from calacatta luxe by B&B italia, features at the center of the living area
the living area immediately draws the eyes of visitors to the brand’s wooden dining table inlaid with calacatta luxe, made by B&B italia for this project. a carefully positioned louis poulsen artichoke light hangs above this. numerous design statements embellish the interiors as a homage to the crafters they employ. the importance of flourishes and finer details are highlighted with an intricate world map digitally carved into a slab of basalt black, and an interpretation of rené magritte’s ‘son of man’ painting made using multiple neolith colors and finishes.

as visitors leave behind the home-from-home in the neolith HQ showroom, the space concludes with a final area styled in a retail theme. based on a high-end fashion boutique, the design simulates a parisian couturier with shelving and walls made in retrostone and mont blanc materials. the result optimizes how the brand’s infinite possibilities and applications of their sintered stone delivers luxury and refinement in any setting.

‘establishing a physical presence globally has been crucial to engaging with our audience, boosting awareness and sales,‘ concludes mar esteve cortes, neolith CSMO. ‘nowhere is this more important than at our head office, where we receive visitors on a daily basis, from distributors and fabricators to architects, specifiers, clients and media. alongside the factory, neolith HQ showroom provides essential context, offering a wide-ranging exploration of what can be accomplished when using our surfaces.‘
